About Me

Hi! I’m Vickie Jennings, a senior marketing student with a lot of love for the creative side of marketing. I was born in Rapid City, South Dakota, but I grew up in Etta, Mississippi. Coming to the University of Tennessee was a no-brainer—I’d spent years visiting the Smoky Mountains and fell in love with East Tennessee’s energy and scenic charm. Knoxville feels like a second home, and I’m always out exploring new spots, trying local restaurants, or just enjoying everything the city has to offer.

In my downtime, I love to read (especially contemporary romance novels), make clay creations, and hang out with friends. Both hobbies are great ways to unwind, and they give me a mental reset when school gets intense. I started making clay art in the summer of 2024, and it’s become a new passion—I especially enjoy crafting tiny fridge magnets!

Family is everything to me, and leaving them for college has been one of the toughest parts of the journey. I’m very close with my younger brother. My family and I are all huge travelers, and my parents gave my brother, Mikel, and I the chance to see so much of the country growing up. My favorite memory is our six-week RV trip along the West Coast when I was 14. We’ve also traveled to Italy as a family, and I was lucky enough to explore Scotland and Ireland in 2022.
